Murray Bridge church
We have been in Murray Bridge since the early 1980s, and are an evangelical protestant church with a strong focus on reformation principles. We are members of a unique and thriving evangelical group of churches in Australia, connected by a love for Christ, His doctrines, the scriptures and His sovereign grace. We are reformed in doctrine and practice, yet modern in worship style, ministry and technology; committed to the spiritual growth of our members, and are a loving group of believers dedicated to the Gospel and to see our communities saved by Christ in their contexts.
The Fellowship of Evangelical Churches of Australia is a group of local churches from around Australia who have come together to form a mutually advantageous alliance for the cause of the Gospel and the practical support of local church ministry.
Technically, FECA is considered an Australian denomination, but each FECA Member Church is fiercly independent and self-governing, and their involvement in FECA is totally voluntary.
FECA Member Churches enjoy regular fellowship, encouragement and co-operation with one another.
FECA has been experiencing a growth phase in recent years with new churches being added to the membership.

What to expect on a sunday:
When you first arrive you will be greeted at the door by one of our friendly team, and shown where there are seats available for you. Let them know if you require any more than there is. Then they will help you to find a seat where you are most comfortable, and help you with any questions you have, and make you feel at home. Our music team will introduce the service with a short Bible reading as a congregation, followed by some praise choruses or hymns with a contemporary feel. The words will be on the screen for you to sing along to and help you out. One of our elders will then give a communion message and you will be able to partake of this is you are a believer. We will sing a hymn or two together before this. You can join in or just listen - it's up to you. After this Ps Daryl or one of our elders & lay-preachers will preach a sermon from a portion of scripture displayed behind them on the screen, and proclaim Christ and Him crucified and exhort everyone or challenge them with something soul stirring.
Our kids church starts just after communion for ages 5 and up, so our staff assist you in helping bring your family to the kids church room together ad settle in for some fun, games, giveaways and Bible stories in a way they can understand who Jesus is and what He has done for us.
After the sermon we'll sing one last song as a joyful celebration of what we've heard, and there will be a morning tea and hot or cold drinks provided for you free of charge! Enjoy this part of the service. Get to know our team and ask anything at all to one of them. If you single out an elder you saw up the front - they're the ones to talk to about church life, Bible study groups, mid week meetings and what's happening in the life of the church as a whole. There's a wide variety of products for sale in our well stocked bookstore to help you in your Christian faith to know your secure salvation in Jesus Christ as laid out in the scriptures. Take advantage of that.
We have no dress code: come as comfortable as you're able, and there are couches at the back for pregnant Mum's and those who cannot sit in a single chair for long. We enjoy new faces, and would love to say hello when you're with us!
